February 8, 2019 — UniAction is proud to announce that it has officially been granted charitable organization status in Canada by the Canada Revenue Agency.

This recognition marks a significant milestone in UniAction’s journey to promote cultural diplomacy, social equity, and international solidarity through education, community engagement, and humanitarian efforts. With this designation, UniAction is now authorized to issue official tax receipts for donations, allowing it to grow its network of supporters and expand its impact at home and abroad.

“Becoming a registered charity is a testament to the trust and support we've received from our community. It allows us to continue building bridges across cultures while working toward a more inclusive and compassionate world,” said Thi Be Nguyen, Founder of UniAction.

UniAction extends its sincere gratitude to all partners, volunteers, and donors whose continued belief in its mission made this achievement possible. This new status strengthens the organization’s foundation as it launches future programs, supports vulnerable populations, and promotes intercultural understanding across generations and borders.

With renewed purpose and official recognition, UniAction proudly moves forward—united in action.
